5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS EXPEDITION TOUR OF THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF GHANA

Day 1
ARRIVAL / WELCOME CEREMONY
On Arrival in Ghana through the Kotoka International Airport. You will be chauffeured to your hotel apartment and given a brief orientation on Ghana.

Day 2
ACCRA TOUR
After breakfast you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of the capital city, Accra. A drive through the administrative and economic districts of Accra. This is a hundred and twenty-four (124) year-old city which has a blend of colonial and modern architecture that summarise her history. You will visit the National Museum, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Independence/ Black Star Square. After lunch in a local Ghanaian restaurant, you will end your tour at the Arts Centre where you will have an opportunity to purchase indigenous Ghanaian artifacts for your “woodrobe”.

Day 3
RELAXATION AT THE BOJO BEACH
Your visit to Ghana will be incomplete without having a feel of the numerous beaches she has been blessed with. After breakfast depart towards Eastern part of Ghana and visit the famous Bojo Beach resort. Bojo Beach is one of the most beautiful.
Although not a very big beach, it is a great place to hangout with love ones if you want to have a memorable African beach experience and sneak away from the busy city of Accra.

Day 4
VOLTA LAKE CRUISING (ONLY ON WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS)
Today, have a feel of traveling on the Volta Lake. Cruise in the “Dodi princess” which is a vessel and also known as the pride of the Volta on the Volta Lake which is the biggest man-made lake in the world in terms of surface. Cruise to the Dodi Island amidst traditional drumming and dancing on board. The “Dodi princess” also provides room for entertaining you and your kids on board with computer games and other forms of entertainment. Overnight stay in Accra is included in this package.
 

DAY 5
LEISURE FOR SHOPPING / DEPARTURE
You might be tired by now I guess, spend the day on individual activities. You can use this opportunity to exercise your bargaining power and skills to shop from an open-air market for artifacts from Ghana and West Africa.
After lunch, relax at the hotel and depart later to the airport for the departure formalities.
